    HISTORY AND PURPOSE OF QPC

    Quilters Piece Corps began with a small group of quilters in 1983 and today has grown to about 150 members.

    Quilters Piece Corps is a non-profit group. Guild members meet monthly to learn, perform and promote the art of quilting in the High Desert. We have guest speakers, workshops, group trips and friendship groups. Our monthly meetings include refreshments and door prize drawings.

    QPC is a member of the Southern California Council of Quilt Guilds. Our newsletter, “The Quilted Lines” is published and emailed monthly to members. The newsletter provides information regarding meetings, membership, patterns, activities, calendar of quilt shows and local shop information.

    Membership in the Quilters Piece Corps is open to all who have an interest in quilting.
